My apology for the lateness of this notice, but, tomorrow,

Tuesday, 25 June 2002, at noon, at the Library of Virginia, in Historic
Downtown Richmond,

David E. Johnson will discuss his new biography of Douglas Southall Freeman,
editor of the Richmond News Leader from 1915 to 1949, radio news analyst,
educator, and Pulitzer Prize-winning author of biographies of Robert E. Lee
and of George Washington.
