Thanks for the suggestions as to where to look for these lists. The county order book contains the men nominated/sworn in as officers, too. The chap I am looking for was not one of them. I also looked at the on-line materials suggested, but drew a blank there as well. I also checked the claimants from the war of 1812, but again no luck. Again, thanks for the useful suggestions--Mick
