In their notes for a 1770 entry in Jefferson's memorandum books, the
editors James Bear and Cinder Stanton refer to Smith's boarding house in
Williamsburg. I didn't find it in the Virginia Gazette index or in
anything I consulted via the CW Rockefeller Library on-line materials.
Does anyone know its location?
