I have found and used English Guild publications at the Library of Congress.
That's not the easiest place to get to for most people. You can check the
online catalogue and go the interlibrary loan route for specific
publications.

I seem to remember finding records on the Merchant Traders Guild and
Glassblowers Guild of London. Neither of these is the proper name - it was
a long time ago. The LOC has a huge collection English historical material
available for use, most of it available in the reference room, or Reading
Room, as they call it. And if you ever have the opportunity to actually go
there to do your research, you will be glad you did. It isn't often that one
has the opportunity to work in such a stately and beautiful environment.
