Thanks Joyce -  I live only about twelve miles from the Library of Congress
so have no problem with being able to use their books.  I will check their
on-line catalog, as
you suggest, and go down.

I agree with you that it is a "stately and beautiful environment."  Anyone
who visits Wash DC should make it a top priority to visit it.
