On Saturday, September 28, 2013, join Richmond music historians Gregg
Kimball and Don Harrison as they take you on a journey through Richmond and
its musical history. The WRIR Music History Tour covers 150 years of
Richmond history in a two hour bus tour. From Elvis's infamous "kiss"
backstage at the former Mosque, to gospel and funk downtown and then the
punk and alternative music scene that happened on W. Grace Street and
around VCU, you'll discover a history of Richmond's overlooked music
history. Who knows, maybe you were a part of Richmond's music history.

There are two bus tours, one at 11 AM and a second at 3 PM. A ticket cost
$25.00 (this is a fundraiser event for the non-profit
WRIR<http://wrir.org/index.php?/>)
- to purchase tickets see:
