I just wrote more or less the same thing and that post may not go through. I should have seen your previous reply. But, I had Miller's book right by my side at the time.
I might add that the first issue of The Bulletin of the Northumberland Historical Society (Vol. 1, No. 1, July 1964) is devoted entirely the events at Munday (also Monday) Point during the War of 1812 (19 pages.) The article was written by Dr. James Motley Book of Lottsburg, who was one of the founders of the Northumberland County Historical Society and, along with James F. Lewis of Irvington, a mover and shaker in the Society until his death.
