AND another two cents on Chiggers. Do all the others have said, the bath,
bleach, etc, and then if any irritate your skin, put clear fingernail polish on
them. They are unable to breath. PESTY critters!

WEAR long sleeve, long pants, and the boots as others have said!  MOST
snakes will not hurt you! They scare us when we reach down.They are  trying  to
either get sun or get away from it! A walking stick, cane, or something will
help scatter them. LEAVE the radio on in the car too if you are fairly close for
a while!  Or take one with you! They would not like any  noise.

Drink plenty of fluids and most of all HAVE FUN! THIS is a great adventure.
You are "digging for kin" as you would be on the computer searching out
information.  SURE hope some of mine turn up somewhere!
