The Department of History welcomes Dr. Peter H. Wood, Duke University, as  
the Helen G. Stafford guest lecturer.

Dr. Wood will present "Seeing Black Virginia Through the Eyes of Winslow  
Homer," at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 15, in Jepson Hall, room 118.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
