What to see a Couper statue in persion? There's a lovely example of his work on the north side of Capitol Square. The bronze of Dr. Hunter Holmes McGuire was cast by Gorham and dedicated in 1904. See A Capitol Collection. Virginia's Artistic Inheritance, published by the Library of Virginia in 2005 (pp. 10-13)
