Well, certain things are facts:
 
1.  His middle name was Gamaliel, for no apparent reason.
 
2.  In the 1920 Republican nominating convention, he was a "dark  horse" 
candidate.
 
3.  He attended Central Ohio College, a predominantly black  college.
 
4.  He was a Baptist.
 
5.  He had extramarital affairs and children out of wedlock.
 
6.  He spoke funny.
