Depending on the content and format of the celebrations, I can certainly see 
how the institution of slavery in Virginia would not be something an African 
American would have reason to celebrate.
The Queen of England was invited. Were African heads of state invited, or is 
this just a celebration of the success the English had in colonizing 
America?
