I'm not sure which is more disrespectful - to accuse old Tom of having 
unmarried sex (which was NOT adultery since neither was legally married 
elsewhere) with a maid who reminded him of his wife, or inviting all sorts 
of visiting relatives to go out back and have at it making a baby!
