Well taken Basil, you are on the right track. She is a major detractor in
this controversy and in my opinion, a spreader of misinformation and known
as "an authority" at Monticello where an African-American ORAL history
Chairman of their study group issued a biased report and hid under the
carpet the Minority Report. Her first book was used as "a road map" there
along with the DEFECTIVE Madison Hemings Pike Co. article. The article lied
about his naming by Dolley Madison. Are we to believe anything he or she
writes or says.....I think not. The American public is being "ripped off",
lied to, manipulated, and just flat CONNED by several of this type persons
whose books have been recently hyped on these web pages!

After seeing The History Channel Presents "The Presidents" and Annette
Gordon-Reed's performance thereon, it is clear to me she is the classic
case of
affirmative action over substance. She wouldn't make a good elementary
school
history teacher in my world, and hyphenating her name and having dread
locks
doesn't add to her credibility.
