A big thank-you to Longwood University, Larissa Smith Fergeson, and her
colleagues and students for hosting the 2019 Virginia Forum this weekend in
the splendid new Upchurch University Center.

And another big thank-you to Deborah Lee and the members of the program
committee she recruited for fashioning one of the richest and
most-interesting programs the Virginia Forum has ever had.

And, of course, all the participants who presented their work for us to
learn from and talk about.

Bravo!!

Another thank-you to the staff at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond who
have volunteered to host the 2020 Virginia Forum. Mark your calendar. The
fifteenth annual Virginia Forum will be held in the new conference center
there on 26-28 March 2020.

Watch virginiaforum.org for the call for papers and for other information
about the 2020 Virginia Forum.
