Held at the law school, the symposium corresponds with the opening of a rare book exhibit at the Wolf Law Library, "British and Colonial Antecedents to American Liberties: An Exhibit of Early Law Books from the Collection of Sid Lapidus," which runs from October 1, 2019 to March 15, 2020. Some of the earliest Virginia imprints will be on display as well as other books pivotal to the development of Virginia law.
