AMERICAN REVOLUTION ROUND TABLE of RICHMOND

While most of our revolutionary reading is likely non-fiction, the occasional novel can add a new and different perspective to our study. And perhaps tell a great story. Think Kenneth Roberts’ Arundel and Rabble in Arms, for example. Please join us on Wednesday, September 19, when our Karen Chase will present “American Independence Beyond the Battlefield: Figures, Facts, and Realities of the American Revolution as Seen Through the Eyes of an Historical Novelist.” Karen’s novel about the Declaration of Independence is almost finished. Here’s her site. http://www.karenachase.com/

We meet for dinner in the Heilman Center at 5:30, with the meeting at 6:30 PM. Maps and details are here. http://arrt-richmond.blogspot.com/p/2013-meeting-schedule.html. Please join us and bring a friend. Guests are always welcome. Stay safe and dry.

Bill
