Three cheers-maybe four-for Kate Gruber and all her colleagues at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation for hosting the 2016 Virginia Forum this past weekend. The venue was superb, and the program was varied and fascinating. All the participants, the organizers, and the people who attended helped make this year's Virginia Forum memorable.

Professor Charles Ford, of Norfolk State University, announced on Friday that Norfolk State will host the 2017 Virginia Forum at the beginning of March. Watch VirginiaForum.org for the call for papers and later announcements.
