WHRA will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, April 27, 3 pm, in
Tucker 127, on the campus of William and Mary--after a brief business
meeting, our speakers will be Lisa and Sean Heuval, on "The College
of William and Mary: Historical Memory and the Civil War." Reception
to follow. Free and open to the public.
I'd be happy to send anyone who wishes an electronic copy of the
February 2014 WHRA Newsletter. Further information, including
membership details, is available at
http://wmpeople.wm.edu/site/page/whra/
The 1922 aerial photo of Williamsburg there comes from an
extraordinary collection of postcards, photographs, and other
material about Williamsburg given to WHRA several years ago. Much of
it can be enjoyed on line at

Have we got a college? Have we got a football team?....
Well, we can't afford both. Tomorrow we start tearing down the
college.
