Everyone,
You might be interested in a panel discussion this Friday, 16 January, at noon, at the VCU Student Commons, in honor of Martin Luther King Day.
The panel is entitled “Virginia and the Civil Rights Movement,” and the distinguished panelists are:
Dr. Jody L. Allen, co-director of the Lemon Project at the College of William and Mary;
Dr. Carmen F. Foster, a participant and scholar of school desegregation in Richmond;
and Henry L. Marsh III, civil rights lawyer and public servant.
For directions, see http://www.maps.vcu.edu/monroepark/univcommons/
See you there,
John
