Henry “Light-Horse Harry” Lee's father was a second cousin to Philip,
Thomas Ludwell, Richard Henry, Francis Lightfoot, and Arthur Lee. I
believe that would make them second cousins once removed.
BTW- I have just finished researching the strong relationship between
the Lee brothers and the origins of a free press. I will be presenting
that paper at a conference in August.
