Processing of the Montgomery County chancery causes is well underway at the courthouse in Christiansburg thanks to an NHPRC grant. Interesting cases are already being discovered including one which features the women of the Floyd and Preston families. See today's Out of the Box for more on the politicking among the females in these two Virginia families.
