The Augusta County Chancery Records are online, along with fifty-seven other counties and cities whose chancery causes have been digitally reformatted through the Library of Virginia's Circuit Court Records Preservation Program. The indexes and records can be accessed online through the Chancery Records Index (CRI) -- http://www.virginiamemory.com/collections/chancery/

Subject: [VA-HIST] Augusta Co Chancery Records
Are Augusta County chancery records online, or are the indexes online? I have looked at the Library of Virginia, but haven't found chancery records or indexes there, but maybe I am not looking in the right spot.
Thank you,
Brenda from Iowa
