The Library of Virginia has partnered with PBS and American Experience to create the Abolitionist Map of America, which utilizes the digital platform, HistoryPin, to tell the story of abolitionists and to explore the anti-slavery movement in America. LVA contributed broadsides, personal letters, legal documents, illustrations, etc. to this exciting project. Check out today's Out of the Box for more on the project, explore some of our collections, and don't forget to watch The Abolitionists tonight on PBS!
