Have you checked with the DAR records to see if her ancestors are already
listed. It expedites paperwork to be able to attach to a patriot ancestor
already in the DAR system. Who is the ancestor?, go to the nearest DAR
chapter historian and you are off to the races.
GOOD LUCK
DAR and SAR do great work to keep the flames alive for Revolutionary war
ancestors and their contributions.

Subject: Virginia Research - does anyone go to the Virginia archives?
Hi,
I am trying to help a lady join DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution).
Her ancestors were in Virginia. Does anyone on this list go to the Virginia
archives, and would you consider helping find records to prove the early
lines?
I am going in for back surgery tomorrow and will not be online for a few
days. Please feel free to email me directly if you would consider helping.
I'm not asking a lot, but the early 2 or 3 generations need some help.
Thank you in advance for considering helping me.
Kindest Regards,
Brenda Hare
