I can't count the number hours I have spent at the George State Archives, all which required transportation (tax), hotel (tax) and meals (tax). Not consider spending money in general in the Georgia economy. It seems to me Georgia is cutting off its nose to spite its face.

Here in the Commonwealth of Virginia, "enlightened preemptive" legislative action has lessen the likelihood of the complete shutdown of non revenue generating activities and wisely shifted revenue responsibilities onto a number of activities that have more than adequate potential to be completely self-supporting; i.e. public TV/radio. But more work needs to be done (read "The Return of 1933" being written in "our financial times".)
