Professor Gutzman,

Thanks for the clarification. I suspect that my Simpson family immigrated from Barbados to Tennessee. Eventually migrating to Fairfax, Virginia where they purchased farmland. Aaron and Moses held other occupations as well. Aaron was a fireman and Moses was a carpenter. Both resided in Washington,Dc. at a time. I found Aaron in marrying in Pa. My mother's paternal Stotts/Brown/Chelks/Cheeks line are found in Steelton, Pennsylvania.
There seems to be such a close connection between my mother's maternal and paternal lines. I hope to break down this brick wall soon. Thanks again for your feedback.
