I’m an art historian, so out of my realm here, but I know my French Huguenot ancestor of Manakin left his land to his son (Jerome/Jeremy Dumas), his will is at Goochland Courthouse. 
I would love to know more about Capt. Nicholas Martiau —he is also one of my ancestors.

And to those of you who helped me several years ago, when I was looking for sources on America in the early 1900s, a heartfelt thank you! I completed my dissertation last month, and just graduated!
