Does anyone know when the Archer Anderson House that stood next to the
Jefferson Hotel was demolished?
Archer Anderson (1838-1918) was the son of Gen. Joseph Reid Anderson
(1813-1892). The elder Anderson's house was demolished ca. 1894 to make
way for the Jefferson Hotel at 101 W. Franklin Street.
The Archer Anderson House, built in 1816, stood, I think through the
1960s...
