Folks,
The newest story is not ready for public view, but on the advice of a
friend, it may have taken an unexpected twist and be offensive to some
African-Americans. I'd appreciate it if Harold Forsynth, Anita Wells, or any
other African-Americans on this list would write me private email at
[log in to unmask] and I will tell them where to see the current version of
the story. I'd like them to tell me if it would offend, and how, so that I
can make changes. According to my critic, I have unwittingly made the
slaveowner the hero of the story instead of the child and the slaves.
