According to folks on the Scotch-Irish-L list , there were both
Scot (the survivors of Culloden were transported to the Colonies
under terms of lifelong indentures, which could be sold ) and
Scotch-Irish slaves (long-term indentures, which could also be sold)
who inter-married with both black and Indian slaves. Those

There were also black and Indian slave owners...or so I've been
told by the descendants of same.
