Everyone,
The Alexandrian Society, the VCU History student organization, is hosting a lecture by Dr. Karenne Wood, head of the American Indian Programs at the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, entitled, "The Language Ghost: Linguistic Heritage and Collective Identity among the Monacan Indians."
The lecture is open to the public and free. It will take place on Thursday, 13 April, at 4:30 p.m., at the Forum Room at the VCU Student Commons (907 Floyd Avenue, in Richmond).
