In the early 1830s, a young lawyer had a dream of writing a weekly newspaper column to share the stories of the pioneers of western Virginia that he had uncovered in the Augusta County court records. Now, 180 years later, the Library of Virginia is turning his dream into reality by making the Augusta County chancery causes for 1747-1818 available online.
