In the late 1980s, my husband I took a driving trip through the Northwestern
USA. We had breakfast one morning in a small town in Wyoming. The
restaurant owner came over to ask if our breakfast was okay. I told her I
was surprised to see grits on her menu. She replied, in a delightful
accent, "Hon, I'm from Mis'sippi."
Don't ya'll suppose that is how a lot of food migrated?

You reminded me of the time I drove through Ft. Payne, AL, and passed by a
Chinese-Italian-Mexican restaurant. We still laugh over that one!
