*Virginia’s Forgotten Revolutionary War Records: Treasures in the Library
of Virginia*Bevin J. Creel, NSDAR
Bevin, a staff genealogist at the National Society Daughters of the
American Revolution, was a very popular speaker at the 2014 NGS Conference
in the States, Richmond, Virginia, and is back by popular demand! A native
of Franklinton, Louisiana, located approximately 50 miles north of New
Orleans, Bevin has particular genealogical interests in Mississippi and
Louisiana as well as Revolutionary War records in the south. He has
authored numerous books of compiled extracts of deed, court and military
records, including records of Augusta, Bedford, Brunswick, and Halifax
counties, Virginia. See his book list at
