I am trying to determine the location of a plantation called Bath in Caroline County, in St. Margaret's Parish. It was the home of William Taliaferro d. 1817 and his wife Elizabeth Hartwell Cocke Taliaferro. There are two William Taliaferro's on the 1815 land tax list, one who lived 6 miles southwest of the courthouse and one who was 14 miles northeast of same. I am not sure of the boundary that separates the two tax districts in the county. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Mick Nicholls
