On April 14, Nicholas Guyatt, York University, will be speaking at the College of William and Mary on “Founding Protégés and Antislavery Futures: Edward Coles, William Short and the Rise of Liberal Colonization in the Early Republic.” The talk will be at 5 p.m. in room 223, James Blair Hall.
