Sara was indeed an ideal editor with the highest standards
and immense knowledge, who could convey criticisms
in such a gentle, friendly way. I respected her greatly and
always enjoyed working with her on a variety of projects.
Virginia history, her co-workers, and all who knew her feel
a real emptiness with her passing. My sincere condolences.

Fred Fausz
St. Louis
