I do not know what happened to the negatives from the Miller & Rhoads
photo studio, but the Virginia Historical Society holds the collection
of William Edwin Booth, which in addition to some very lovely
professional and personal work contains many advertising photographs he
shot for Miller & Rhoads (there are also some ad mockups and proofs and
that sort of thing).

Does anyone know the fate of the negatives et al. from the photo studio
in the flagship Miller & Rhoads on Grace Street in Richmond?  Did they
survive and, if so, did they end up in a public institution?
