On page 142 of Kieran Doherty's book, *Sea Venture*, he writes that Sir
Thomas Gates sailed to England in the Blessing on July 20, 1610. The date is
repeated on page 287 of Ivor Noel Hume's *The Virginia Adventure*.

I have not been able to find a source for this date. The latest date in
William Strachy's letter is July 15, 1610, after which he reports no events.
Does anyone know where I might find that source?

(Both books are excellent, by the way. Mr. Doherty's is the best treatment I
have read of the incident.)
