Hi, everyone. This is a bit belated, but if you happen to be in Washington tomorrow (Tuesday, February 7), Elizabeth Dowling Taylor will be giving a talk at 12 noon in the Mumford Room, James Madison Building, Library of Congress, on her new book A Slave in the White House: Paul Jennings and the Madisons.
The Library complex is across the street from the U.S. Capitol, east side; the Capitol South Metro stop (Blue and Orange lines) is less than a block from the Madison Building. Amazon.com's page about the book is at http://www.amazon.com/Slave-White-House-Jennings-Madisons/dp/0230108938.
Best to all--
