For keen flag buffs over and beyond this fascinating collection in Richmond, there are also colonial Australian flag collections in Australia that might be of interest. Some flags were laid up in churches, usually Anglican following the old British pattern of the Established Church but increasingly these are finding their way into libraries for conservation. The State Library of Victoria (SLV), the State Library of NSW and the National Library of Australia have collections of pre-Federation and post-Federation flags.
Just a passing thought for those interested.
