It is easy to sit at your keyboard and suggest maybes and possibilities, but
I am confused as to why you find it so necessary to ASSUME that the
information was incorrect. Why not just accept it as part of the "proof" of
the likelihood that TJ was the father of Madison Hemings. Apparently,
Madison believed it, told it, and others who spoke with him believed it as
it was told. The descendents of Madison apparently believe it. Why is it so
hard for you to accept?
