The area in Shockoe Creek north of Broad and east of 15th was not part
of Richmond until 1867. Various deeds refer to Mill Valley and Adams
Valley. Does anyone have a plat reference so that I can locate these
things on the ground? I've looked at various plats and then maps of
Richmond and hesitate to try to correlate them with the block numbers
from the Byrd Lottery.

Any help gratefully received.

Lyle Browning
