Dear Archivist:
One of my ancestors, CAPT. FRANCIS WOODBRIDGE, died at Ft. Barrancas in 1855. He served in the Florida War 1838, and in the war with Mexico; brevetted major Sept 8, 1847 "for gallant and meritorious conduct in the battle of Molino del Rey". Where can I get his service records?.....Are there indexes to RG 393 (Army Commands..), RG 94 (Adjutant General), or RG 107 (Secretary of War)?
If so, could you give me the locations so that I might find them easier at the Archives. Or could you copy the information and let me know what the charge is?
Thank you for your help in this matter.
Diana Bennett
