Hello Everyone,

I am looking at several families whose surname is represented in records of
the Frederick County Area (on Map) in the 1730s, as well as in the area now
of Spotsylvania and Stafford Co. -- Northern Neck grants.

The deed records in question are in what is now Fairfax County (Accotink
Watershed). A separate one is on the Rapidan River, but exactly location is
undetermined.

My question is -- would those folks who migrated from PA and MD to the
Frederick Co VA area in the late 1720s/30s have already started moving on to
what is now Fairfax by 1735 to 1740.

Thanks in advance,

Janet (Baugh) Hunter
