I remember a small disturbance  few years ago over the grave of a black 
member of the Stonewall Brigade. Seems his black descendant had traced back 
to this ancestor and wanted a proper stone (or something like that) and the 
Sons of the Confederacy agreed and held some sort of ceremony.

The details are vague and, not now being located in VA, I am unable to 
follow up on this, but I'm sure other members of this list can fill in the 
details.
