I saw an interesting building in Wilmington, NC at this site
http://www.bellamymansion.org/slave-quarters.htm that housed slaves in an
urban setting. I don't know what type of toilet facilities they had there.
But maybe the people who support this website and historical location would
help you. Maybe there would have been something similar in Virginia cities
at the same time frame.
