Yes, JP, Mary Hawkins Craig (the mother of Lewis and Elijah Craig)
was among the group who was present at Bryans/Bryants Station five
miles east of Lexington, Ky when the women of the Fort carried buckets
of water to save the fort from fiery destruction in 1792. Tolliver
Craig Sr. (father of Lewis and Elijah) is also said to have been among
the men present at the Station. Mary was born circa 1716 if one uses
the information that she died in 1804 at the age of 88. My data base
has Taliaferro Craig Sr born circa 1705 from information received from
a researcher of this family group. I have had a lot of fun gathering
information about this very colorful family and the also very colorful
family from which Mary Hawkins Craig was born into. Marsha Moses
