Their survival from the institution of slavery and the contributions of
their ancestors could be something to celebrate.

So what if it is? What's wrong with that? It certainly won't be the bigoted
diatribes that most likely would qualify as "hate speech" spewing forth from
the official opposition event. You will notice that none of those listed as
speakers/supporters of the "opposition event" are local. They come here only
bring their hate. Those promoting that event only extoll racism and division.
The pity is that the press will suck up to them and give them a national
platform to spread their racism.
